At Much Ado About Theatre we breathe new life into classic plays and productions with inventive twists on renowned tales.

Unlike most local theatre companies, you’ll find us popping up in unsuspecting venues like beer gardens, schools and churches to keep our performances fresh and accessible to everyone!

Involving the audience in every one of our shows, expect our classically trained actors to bring Shakespeare and other acclaimed pieces to life in new and imaginative ways.

Absolutely wonderful local company. The shows I've seen (and I've seen a few now) have all been fab with professional performances and lovely actors who don't mind stopping to have a chat or a drink after to discuss the play and future plans. Fabulous performance at the Vic tonight. All the cast dealt wonderfully with the regular interruptions of the trains passing by, even ad libbing to include them in the performance. The arrival of the longest goods train did not faze them. Well done and thank you all so much. - Avril Molde
One of the best productions of A Midsummer Nights Dream that I have seen. All the cast were good, but Puck was amazing. Great that it started at 6.30pm so kids could come and my six-year old loved it. - Paul Swift
